Wine Description
The 2022 Malbec presents a bright violet colour with youthful brilliance in the glass. The nose is fresh and intensely floral, offering a captivating bouquet of blackberry, juicy plums, and violets, accented by hints of herbs and a peppery edge. On the palate, the wine is potent yet velvety, displaying a soft and rounded texture with flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, and a touch of dark chocolate. It possesses a medium to full body with a noticeable mineral salinity and fine grained tannins, leading to a long, smooth finish.
This wine is 100% Malbec, typically sourced from various vineyards across Luján de Cuyo, the Uco Valley, and Medrano to provide a comprehensive reflection of the province. It is aged for 9 months in neutral French oak barrels to emphasize freshness and varietal tipicity. While this young wine is intentionally bottled to be approachable and soft upon release, it remains structured enough to be enjoyed over a drinking window of roughly four to six years.
