The Aladino Sumatra Limited Edition is an exciting, small-batch release that marks a bold step forward for the Eiroa family and their acclaimed Aladino brand. This rare blend tells the story of tradition and innovation—combining deep roots in authentic Corojo with fresh vision from the family’s fourth generation.
Back in 2016, Aladino began experimenting with Sumatran seed tobacco grown in Honduras, an ambitious project nurtured at the renowned JRE Tobacco Farm. Now, after years of patient cultivation and careful aging, this special leaf is finally ready to shine. The result is the Aladino Sumatra Limited Edition—a true milestone for Aladino and proof that even the masters of Corojo can craft something entirely new and intriguing.
True to form, this cigar is made with 100% Honduran-grown tobacco. While only the wrapper leaf—a silky Honduran-grown Sumatra—has been disclosed, the internal blend remains a closely guarded family secret, adding to its boutique allure.
The profile is medium-bodied, refined, and layered, showcasing the nuanced sweetness and subtle spice that make Sumatra leaf so beloved. Expect delicious notes of sweet cedar, gentle baking spice, roasted nuts, and a touch of creamy earth, balanced by the unmistakable old-world smoothness that defines every Aladino blend.
This limited edition not only honors the family’s legacy of preserving authentic Cuban-seed Corojo—it also highlights their forward-thinking spirit with modern packaging and a contemporary twist, proudly influenced by the fourth generation of Eiroas leading JRE Tobacco into the future.
