Bardstown Bourbon Company Origin Series Bottled-in-Bond Wheated
A modern take on a classic designation. Bardstown Bourbon Company's Origin Series Bottled-in-Bond honors the strict federal standards established in 1897 while showcasing a unique wheated bourbon recipe that sets it apart from traditional bottled-in-bond expressions.
Crafted with 20% wheat in the mash bill and aged for six years, this bourbon meets all Bottled-in-Bond requirements: distilled by one distiller at one distillery during one distillation season, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. The wheat brings a softer, sweeter character compared to high-rye bourbons, creating exceptional balance and approachability.
Expect rich notes of caramel, vanilla, and honey layered with hints of baking spice, toasted oak, and a subtle creaminess from the wheat. The 100 proof delivers bold flavor and warmth without harshness, making it perfect for sipping neat or elevating classic cocktails.
Perfect for bourbon enthusiasts who appreciate wheated profiles, Bottled-in-Bond transparency, and craft distillery innovation that honors tradition while pushing boundaries.
