Basil Hayden Red Wine Cask Finish is a special release that blends the classic Basil Hayden high-rye mash bill with bourbon partially aged in Californian red wine casks. This innovative finishing process creates a bourbon that is ripe with cherries and dried fruit, while also delivering characteristic bourbon flavors of vanilla and charred oak. The red wine cask influence adds layers of complexity and subtle wine-like characteristics that elevate the entire drinking experience. Perfectly balanced, Basil Hayden Red Wine Cask Finish is layered and complex, yet approachable and inviting—exactly what you'd expect from Basil Hayden. Each sip reveals the harmonious marriage of bourbon tradition and wine cask innovation, creating a sophisticated spirit that appeals to both bourbon and wine lovers alike.
