Introduction
Carpineto Chianti Classico is a distinguished red wine from the historic Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy. The winery was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo, who shared a vision of producing modern, world class wines from the potential of the local soil. Today, the family run estate spans 500 hectares across several prestigious appellations, maintaining a winemaking philosophy that integrates traditional techniques with cutting edge technology to ensure both elegance and longevity.
Wine Description
This wine presents a vibrant ruby red colour that develops garnet reflections with aging. The aromatic profile is intense and expressive, featuring notes of violets, berries, and red cherries accented by hints of leather, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full bodied and velvety with a well balanced structure that offers flavours of black cherry, plum, and earth. The finish is long and savoury, highlighting firm yet polished tannins and a persistent fruit character.
