Privada Storytelling
After Noel Rojas took the cigar world by storm with his Street Tacos, we knew the natural follow-up had to be dessert. Enter the Golden Churro—a Privada exclusive that takes the warm, sugary, cinnamon-laced nostalgia of the classic fried treat and translates it into a cigar.
Rojas, who has become one of the brightest young talents in the boutique world, designed this blend as both a wink to his roots and a love letter to those who crave bold but playful cigars. Just as the churro is golden, fried, and dusted in sweetness, this cigar delivers richness, warmth, and bursts of surprising flavor with every puff. It’s the kind of cigar that makes you smile while you smoke, and maybe even crave a trip to the fairgrounds.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with dried peach, red pepper, cream, cedar, and graham cracker sweetness. Cinnamon coats the retrohale while tamarind and maple syrup bring tang and depth. White florals weave through creamy smoke.
-
Second Third: The profile grows bolder and more complex with notes of crisp ciabatta bread, fresh-cut green apple, and leather. Cedar evolves into oak, balanced by raspberry jam and charred wood. Tamarind lingers.
-
Final Third: Cinnamon spice ramps up, joined by sweet granola, maple syrup, and returning apricot. A horseradish and wasabi-like kick emerges on the retrohale, ending the cigar with a fiery twist that still feels indulgent.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada thrives on storytelling and on finding cigars that capture a feeling, a memory, or even a dessert. The Golden Churro is more than a cigar—it’s a cultural connection, a celebration of craftsmanship, and a playful reminder that fine tobacco can be just as fun as it is luxurious. Noel Rojas has delivered something both daring and comforting, perfectly embodying Privada’s mission to push the boundaries of the cigar experience.
