Moroki, meaning "ongoing" in Māori, is produced by a collective of wine enthusiasts dedicated to crafting modern wines that highlight high-quality fruit from New Zealand's premier regions. The 2022 vintage from the Nelson region is a light-bodied red that offers a complex bouquet of pomegranate, raspberry cordial, and white pepper, accented by earthy undertones of mushroom and hoisin sauce. While lightweight, it maintains a creamy mouthfeel with fine-grained tannins and a balanced finish featuring tart cherry and sweet earth.
