Naonis Jader Spumante
This is a vibrant sparkling wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region renowned for its winemaking heritage, neighbouring Prosecco. Indeed, you would do well to tell this apart from a prosecco in a blind tasting. Produced by Viticoltori Friulani La Delizia, established in 1931, the winery is the largest in the region and known for its technical precision and terroir-driven wines. This spumante is crafted from Glera and Ribolla Gialla grapes, historically cultivated by the Romans. The wine undergoes re-fermentation in pressurised tanks using selected yeasts and sugar, followed by stabilisation and filtration. The result is a fresh, aromatic wine with a fine and persistent perlage. Its lively character makes it a versatile choice for pairing with seafood, light starters, or simply as an elegant aperitif.
- Naonis Jader Spumante offers a fragrant bouquet of white flowers and orchard fruits.
- The palate is crisp and refreshing with a delicate mousse and balanced acidity.
- Fine and persistent bubbles enhance the wine’s elegant texture.
- Notes of pear and peach add a juicy, fruit-forward dimension.
- A clean finish makes Naonis Jader Spumante ideal for celebratory moments.
This wine pairs beautifully with seafood and fish, where its freshness complements delicate flavours. It also works well with light vegetarian dishes or soft cheeses, enhancing creamy textures with its crisp profile.
