Set includes: Nordes Atlantic Gin (700 ml), Xoriguer Mahon Spanish Gin (700 ml), Gin Mare Spanish Gin (750 ml)
Nordes Atlantic Gin From Galicia, in the northwest of Spain, tucked just above Portugal, comes Nordes Atlantic Gin. A big and aromatic gin, with floral and fruity notes throughout. This is partially thanks to the unusual base spirit: a non-neutral distillate of the Albariño grape, which is famed for its bright and almost botanical profile, sometimes compared to Gewurztraminer. It creates a light sweetness on the palate, which is perfectly balanced by the floral notes of the laurel, sage, and eucalyptus.
Xoriguer Mahon Spanish Gin One of only two gins anywhere with an EU denomination of origin, Xoriguer (pronounced "Sho-Ri-Gair”) begins with a juniper-forward aroma with hints of green wood and herbs. On the tongue you'll enjoy a rich mouthfeel driven by juniper essential oils. An herbaceous flavor with generous juniper notes and smooth citrus rounds out this unique gin.
Gin Mare Spanish Gin Inspired by the culinary heritage of the Catalan Mediterranean region. Signature botanicals include the local arbequina olive, bitter and sweet orange, lemon, rosemary, and thyme. The nose is big on the herbal side, especially rosemary, but is gentle and never overpowering. The palate likewise leans herbal with the rosemary and thyme dominating, but with a solid juniper background and the brightness of citrus to balance it all and keep it from becoming overly savory.
