Privada Storytelling
The Chalupa Aged 4 Years is the definition of indulgence from AJ Fernández — a bold, refined cigar crafted with absolute precision at his famed Nicaraguan factory. Originally designed to show off the power and versatility of Habano leaf, The Chalupa has matured into something even greater after four years of careful aging.
This is not just another AJ blend — it is a rich and layered experience that mirrors the artistry of fine cuisine. Every puff delivers both strength and balance, designed to be savored slowly. Like its namesake dish, The Chalupa is hearty, satisfying, and unforgettable.
Flavor Journey
From the cold draw of silky leather and cocoa, The Chalupa sets the stage with elegance. Upon lighting, red pepper, cedar, sea salt, and golden honey burst forth, creating a spicy-sweet opening. Midway, complexity deepens with notes of simple syrup, almond, lemon-lime, and chocolate. The finale is where this cigar shines — clove, toasted bread, cream, lime, and graham harmonize into a luxurious, lingering finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada thrives on exclusivity and storytelling, and The Chalupa embodies both. It is bold without being overwhelming, sophisticated without being inaccessible, and aged long enough to deliver polished refinement. Its combination of power, elegance, and AJ Fernández’s signature blending artistry make it an essential entry in the Privada archive.
